What we collect and why
We collect your name, email, protected password hash and account session information to register and authenticate your account. We record your newsletter choice and when it changed. Checkout and order records support purchases, customer service and payment reconciliation. Account and order processing supports the service and contracts you request; optional marketing relies on your choice to opt in. Abuse-prevention measures help protect the service.
Payments and hosting
Cloudflare hosts this shop and its account and order database. Stripe handles payment details through its hosted checkout; we do not store full card numbers or security codes. Resend sends account verification, password-reset and transactional order emails. It processes the recipient email address and message content, including order items, totals and confirmed delivery dates, for delivery. Order emails are separate from optional marketing. Necessary suppliers process relevant information to operate the shop. We do not sell your customer details.
Weekly updates
The newsletter option is unticked by default. You do not need to subscribe to register or buy. You can change your preference in your account. Weekly campaigns are not running yet; an email provider and unsubscribe process must be verified before sending starts.
Cookies and security
A necessary Secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Sign out on shared devices. Passwords are hashed with a unique salt; session and email-link tokens are stored as hashes. Verification links expire after 24 hours and reset links after 30 minutes. Resetting a password signs out existing sessions. This account feature does not add advertising or analytics cookies.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to applicable processing, and withdraw marketing consent. Some order information may need to be retained for legal obligations. Contact the shop to make a request. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Retention and international processing
Session records expire after 30 days. Customer and order retention schedules and the specific international-transfer safeguards used by our service providers must be confirmed before live launch. We retain information only as needed for the stated purposes and applicable legal obligations.
