Your account
Register and sign in before checkout. Provide accurate contact and delivery details, keep your password private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use. Creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing.
Products, photographs and prices
Photographs are representative; individual fish, shrimp and plants can differ in size, colour and appearance. Prices and availability are confirmed before sales open. We will not substitute an item without your agreement. If an item cannot be supplied, we will explain your options and refund any payment taken for it.
Availability
Products are available to order subject to confirmation. A product listing does not guarantee immediate dispatch. We confirm whether your chosen items can be supplied and agree the delivery date before accepting your order and taking payment. If we cannot supply an item or meet the agreed date, we will contact you with your options; we will not substitute without your agreement.
Ordering and payment
A checkout acknowledgement confirms receipt of your request, rather than acceptance of your order. We confirm availability and the agreed delivery date before accepting the order and taking payment. Test checkout reserves no real money. Your statutory rights apply to every accepted sale.
Delivery and collection
Mainland UK packing and postage costs £30 per order, with free delivery when the goods subtotal is over £300; an order of exactly £300 still attracts £30 postage. Orders cannot be dispatched outside mainland UK through this checkout. Fish or shrimp orders received by 12 noon Monday may be planned for Friday delivery. The target arrival window is 6am–12 noon; the courier service has not yet been selected, so this window is not guaranteed. Availability, the courier service and delivery date must be confirmed before accepting an order. Plant dates are confirmed separately. No delivery date is guaranteed until agreed for your order.
Receiving livestock
Arrange for someone to receive the parcel on the agreed day. Check the delivery promptly, photograph any damage or arrival problem where practical and contact us as soon as possible. Follow appropriate acclimation guidance for the species and your aquarium. Do not return or post live animals without arranging a safe resolution with us. Evidence helps us investigate; it does not remove your legal rights.
Problems, cancellations and refunds
Contact us promptly if a delivery is damaged, incorrect or unhealthy. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law. Eligible online purchases normally have a 14-day cancellation period. Any lawful exception for a particular product must be explained before purchase; we do not impose a blanket no-refunds rule on livestock or plants. Faulty or misdescribed goods remain subject to your statutory rights regardless of a cancellation exception. Contact us before returning goods so we can explain the safe return process and any applicable costs.
Privacy and weekly emails
We use account and order information to provide the service, as explained in our privacy policy. Future weekly promotional emails are optional. You can change your preference in your account; each marketing email will include an unsubscribe route.
Complaints and applicable law
Call the shop if you need help or wish to complain. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable UK consumer law and your right to use the courts available to you continue to apply.
